SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a set of practice to optimize your website’s pages or contents and rank them organically in search engine results page. We can use different types of SEO tactics to rank our websites and its content.
Types of SEO
There are three types of SEO in Digital Marketing. These are On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO. There is another type of SEO, which is called Local SEO.
On-Page SEO
When it comes to ranking our website, On-Page optimization plays an important role in SEO. Even Google also prioritize those websites for ranking who’s On-Page is well optimized. In this strategy, we generally update or edit contents within a website. To get a better ranking result we will have to focus on its key factors including- keywords, title tag, meta description, header tag, internal linking, url, schema markup, page speed, engaging content etc.
Off-Page SEO
Off-Page SEO is a strategy where we take activities outside of a website. Link building, guest posting, forum submission, influencer outreach, content marketing, social media engagement are the parts of Off-Page SEO activities. In today’s competitive market, gaining audience’s trust is the most important part as it creates long term valuation and a part of Off-Page SEO too. By applying these Off-Page methods we can create audience’s trust easily.
Technical SEO
Technical SEO is a process to improve website’s technical requirements for search engines crawlers. By improving Technical SEO strategies we can make our websites easy to crawl for the crawlers. XML sitemaps, robots.txt, core web vitals, minimize HTTP request are the parts of Technical SEO.
Local SEO
Local SEO is a practice to improve visibility of a business profile in Google’s search results. Local SEO is one of the major key points in SEO strategies. It helps businesses by increasing their visibility to local customers. It also helps to gain high traffic, improve brand awareness, increase sales and customer trusts.
